Double clicking

so before anyone thinks of closing this I just have a question.

So Ik @Jinxy /towp got ban for unfair advantage which I heard was a double clicker on his mouse or something so my question is how does a double clicker work like why does a mouse do it also why is it bannable it's not a client or anything it's just the mouse is broken right? Shouldn't it be a warning then a temp ban?
